By the River Thames in Maidenhead
A very nice house in a very nice part of Maidenhead town. Just off Boulters Lock next to the River Thames. We even had some good weather to top it all off.
Thanks to Mr & Mrs Foster for their input and getting really involved with us during this build. We both really enjoyed it.

The first job, was to start stripping everything out, thankfully Mr Foster had already started with this task. Although the ingredients of the old tile adhesive still remains a mistery!

Once the rooms were emptied, we could then start with the alterations to the walls etc. Many small dividing walls were removed, existing door ways were bricked up, new door ways created and the walls re-rendered and plastered.

After forgetting the camera for many days, well weeks actually we come straight to the finished product.
In the newly conceived family bathroom, clean white tiles, fittings and glass blue tiles really work well in here. I have said it many times I know, but less is still more.

Underfloor heating always works well and for the relative cost in my opinion a must have. I have enjoyed it in my kitchen now for many months and I am so glad I installed it. It just makes hard surfaces such as tiles soft to the touch.

A tall heated towel rail not only looks great, but offers much practicality.

I really like this Laufen sink assembly, where storage is always an issue this goes along way to sorting it out. Hanging off the wall as it does looks stylish without looking like all the floor space has dissapeared

Topped off with a heated mirror assembly, it is just a nice space to get ready in.

Clean simple shower controls add to the modern feel of this bathroom.

In the newly created en-suite we have a warmer feel. Beige and white, totally classic. Complemented with small beige stone tiles.
Here we have a cabinet which again works well with its surroundings.

Beige always works well, I see it so often as a clients choice. Everytime we install it ,I can see why they choose it for their own home.

A picture showing the smaller stone insert tiles, simple but again effective.

A close up of the sink unit, underfloor heating again in here with a heated towel rail. Four downlighters were also installed for better lighting.

Thanks again to Mr & Mrs Foster for their confidence in us and making us welcome over the weeks that we were there. Even if you did say to us on many occasions that you were really looking forward to getting rid of us! It was a real pleasure. Hope that the decoration and the new carpets all go well.
